- 1) What do I get when I order the Express WordPress Installation service?
This service includes: – Installation of the latest version of WordPress on your server – Installation of your purchased WordPress theme – Setup of your purchased theme using any demo content included with the theme (click here for more information) – Your website’s name and logo added to the site If you need some further customization done, then our experts can help you with this for an additional fee. ….(click here to request a quote)
- 2) What content will be installed on my website?
Your expert will install any demo content that is included with your theme. However, this doesn’t guarantee that your website will look exactly like the theme’s Live Preview. Some themes come with the demo content shown in the theme’s Live Preview. Other themes come with different demo content altogether, and some themes do not come with any demo content at all. This service doesn’t cover the migration of any of your existing content into your new website.
- 3) What don’t I get when I order the Express WordPress Installation service?
This service doesn’t cover: Domain name/web hosting purchase or setup. You’ll need to have your own web hosting already set up, and have your server details ready to supply to your expert so that they can get started. If you need help finding a web host, we have some recommendations here.
- 4) Does the installation service cover customization of my site as I want it?
This purchase doesn’t cover any further customization to your site’s design or functionality, beyond adding your website’s name/logo and the theme’s demo content.
If you need some further customization done, then your experts can help you with this for an additional fee.
- 5) What content will you upload?
Your expert will upload any demo content that is included with your theme (see here for more information on this), but this doesn’t include any additional content (e.g. your own content from another website). If you need to migrate some content across from another website, then we can help you with this for an additional fee.
- 6) Do you provide hosting services?
Yes we do provide Managed WordPress Hosting Services. Our managed WordPress hosting plans can be reviewed here.
- 7) I've had my theme installed. But how do I get my theme further customized?
We provide a standard WordPress Theme Customization service (please see details here); however, If you’d require additional customization work outside the scope of my WordPress Theme Custom Customization Service, please provide us with a detailed brief / wire-frame detailing your requirements and we will be happy to provide you with a quote and a delivery time-frame for the job. You can also request additional work from your installation expert by proposing a custom job here.
- 8) I have a site hosted on WordPress.com. Can I get a ThemeForest theme installed?
Since WordPress.com does not support the installation of external themes, WordPress.com users are unable to install themes via this service. More information on the difference between WordPress.com and self-hosting can be found here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ If you still would like your purchased theme installed, you will need to purchase separate hosting so that our experts can install the WordPress CMS and your theme. You can see a number of recommended hosting solutions here. Purchasing external hosting will still allow you to keep your chosen domian.
- 9) I already have a WordPress site and theme installed up and running can I use the WordPress Theme Installation service to have a new theme installed on my existing website?
No – if you already have an WordPress website which has content that you want to keep, then our WordPress Installation service is probably not right for you. You will need to consider opting for our Essential WordPress Theme Update plan The WordPress Theme Installation Service is designed for setting up brand new websites and getting them ready for you to start adding content. Modifying existing content to make sure that it works with a new theme is beyond the scope of this service. Don’t worry though – if you need help setting up a new theme on your existing website, we will help you and you can purchase our Essential WordPress Theme Update plan here.
- 10) Can I request support after my job is done?
We pride ourselves in providing unrivaled support, and we promise to respond to your support requests within 12 hours of receiving your support ticket – (Monday – Friday and Weekends are not included)
- 11) Do you help with Theme's bug fixes?
No sorry Bug fixes are down to the developer of the theme.
- 12) Do you offer tutorial after the job is delivered?
Again sorry, however we will encourage you to read your theme’s documentation if you wish to quickly find your way round the admin after the installation is completed.
